Take in the fresh country air as you cruise past ancient vineyards, olive groves and charming hamlets of the world-famous Chianti Classico on your stylish Vespa, with a visit to the enchanting medieval town of San Gimignano, before ending your journey by indulging in a delicious Tuscan lunch and sampling Chianti classics at a local winery.

Your great country escape begins bright and early from the city of Florence. Abroad a private minivan, you’ll be whisked to the heart of Chianti, where you’ll meet up with your private English-speaking tour guide. After a quick orientation, you’ll be ready to hop on your Vespa, and take to Tuscany’s scenic roads in true ‘la dolce vita’ style.

As you cruise through idyllic country lanes, you’ll learn more about the region’s wine and olive oil production, stopping to take photos each step of the way. Your first stop will be at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, San Gimignano, the region’s ‘Medieval Manhattan’, where you’ll tour the 1300 Museum, before tasting the world-famous Dondoli gelato.

Back on your Vespas, you’ll then make your way towards a local winery to tuck into Tuscan antipasti, while sampling eight different Chianti wines, and end your journey with a delicious and authentic lunch.
